Antique Indian Silver Bracelet
These beautiful Antique sterling silver bracelets are from the North of India , a state called Rajesthan, they were worn by the tribal women, and were made from the 1800's - 1900's. The silver smithing skills and traditions have since been lost , so there will never be more of these produced. It became fashionable to melt down all the antique family heirlooms and take the money for the melted silver to buy gold jewellery instead. Unfortunately all this incredible old heritage silver has been lost. Im selling both bangles together , as they are a matching pair although I could be persuaded to let them go separately. Ive owned these for the last 15 years and will be sorry to let them go. I get compliments every time I wear them!!
